The Sunday Post

Hope your week has been good. I've had a good week and I think the two biggest events is that our daughter had her 9th birthday and we've switched bed for our 2-year-old. She has moved out from her crib and now she has a junior bed :) Our girls are getting bigger ♥

Another small thing is that I'm trying to start a book journal, where I write down all books I've read, tbr list, author pages (with information) with my favorite authors and lists with all the books they've written. I will also write review pages of books that I've enjoyed a lot, like 4 and 5 stars books :)

I found inspiration for a journal like this on Facebook and it looked like fun to create and to keep for yourself. Do you have a book journal?

Time for the Wrap Up for week 27!

A Book I've Finished

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen. I truly loved this book and by reading this I feel pretty hooked by the author and can't wait to read more from her.

Book I'm Currently Reading

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bannett. I'm a little over 100 pages in this book and like it so far. A book who is great to read during the summer.

The Audiobook I'm Currently Listening To

Right now I'm listening to another Colleen Hoover book called Maybe Someday. I just started this audiobook, but as the other two that I've listened to by her, I think this won't be less good :)

Bookstagram Account I Like

@bokelskerinnen is a person/account that I've followed for awhile and she reads a lot of darker books, like crime, thriller, and mystery. She as a pretty and an appealing account and really glad I've connected with her.

Book Review

This week I posted a review for Saint Anything which also was the book that I was able to finish this week :) If you want to check it of you can find the review here.

Favorite Booktube Video

For this week I have to say it is the June Book Haul from the channel Books and Smiles. Really like to get tips of books I've not heard of before.

New Book I Got This Week

I had a great luck to get two new books in the mail this week and I got them for free :)

Kyssfaktorn is the Swedish copy for The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang and I knew I was getting this as I did request this review copy, but still, it is just as fun to open those book packages. I do have this already in English, but I was eager to get it as it is just released in Sweden :)

Demonviskaren is a fantasy sequel by the Swedish author Lovisa Wistrand which I connected with on Instagram. I have the first book called Drakviskaren and I still haven't finished that one, cause these books are big :) But I've picked up Drakviskaren again and will finish it so I can continue with Demonviskaren.

I wasn't prepared to get Demonviskaren, so I was really surprised when I got it ♥

Saint Anything - Sarah Dessen

Happy Wednesday to you and I can't believe we already are in the month of July. I'm happy for it cause it means that my vacation is close :)
I have a new book review and recommendation for you today.

My Thoughts

I've heard, watched reviews of her books of a booktuber I follow who love Sarah Dessen books and seen her books time to time but until last week, I hadn't still read anything by her. Now I feel a little ashamed, cause I can't see why I've waited so long :)

For June I made an order of 4 of her books in Swedish copies and Saint Anything is the first book I've finished and read by Sarah Dessen for now and I honestly loved it. A wonderful story which is both sad and happy.

And I can recommend you to not read this while you are hungry, cause the name pizza is mentioned a lot of times :)

A great first summer read for me and I highly recommend it for anyone to read if you love contemporary books. It sure will be a book that will be stuck in my mind for some time. I'm pretty sure that Sarah Dessen is a favorite author of mine now and I can't wait to pick up another book by her ♥

My rate is 5 by 5

The Sunday Post

Happy Sunday readers, hope your week has been great. My week as pretty chill as I was at home 2 days from work as my little girl wasn't feeling well, so mostly I just enjoyed the great summer weather we've been having :)
But this weekend has been my work weekend (I work every other weekend beside from a few days a week), so the weekend has been busier for me.

Time to do a nice wrap up for week 26 ♥

A Book I've Finished

Everland by Wendy Spinale I listen to on audiobook and I'm glad I started this nice trilogy that is a Peter Pan retelling. Really enjoyed it.

Book I'm Currently Reading

I'm reading right now Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen and I've read 298 pages of 417, so I think I will finish it pretty soon cause it's a book that I've been able to read fast.

The Audiobook I'm Currently Listening To

I started this week the audiobook The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert. I've had my eye on this book for a while and it's been on my Goodreads tbr list, so a couple of days ago I just decided it is time to check it out :)

Bookstagram Account I Like

@kimmersbook is a pretty new account for me as I discovered him a few days ago. But I like what he is doing as he features other bookstagrammers pictures on his account and link to them. So that's nice and it's a good way for his followers to find new great accounts.

He also does a lot of Insta stories live and have a podcast :)

Book Review

This week book review I published is for the book Need To Know by Karen Cleveland and you can find the review here.

Favorite Booktube Video

Bookables is a Youtube channel by Heather and I've followed her since last year and always enjoy watching her stuff :) Booktube is my favorite kind of videos.
One of the videos she posted this week is about her giving some summer read recommendations and you can watch the video here.

New Book I Got This Week

A book that I got in the mail this week that I bought with several other books this month is The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. Wanted to read it since I first heard of it and it's a great book to read now in the summer (that's what I've heard :)), so I just had to order it and I'm saving it cause I want to read it when my summer vacation starts from week 30.

This week's question is from Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews:

Do you have an Instagram account? If so, do you only follow book folks?

I do have a personal account where I post more family life and lifestyle. But I also have a Bookstagram account where I only share my obsession about books and I only follow other bookish people on that account. My Bookstagram account is @latteandabook.
