Top Ten Tuesday - Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is: Winter TBR

So happy that we are only a few days from the Christmas weekend. I'm really looking forward to relaxing, have a cozy time with the family and eat good food. We will have a gathering here in our house on Christmas Eve (in Sweden we celebrate the actual Christmas on Christmas Eve :)), my parents are coming and my mother in law and they all will also sleep over.

Now, over to my Winter TBR, cause I know that is what you are actually is curious about...right?! :)

I don't have a long setup list for the books I want to read next this winter, cause I do read after what mood I'm in and what I feel like for that moment. I don't listen to audiobooks now, cause I can't focus and prefer reading books right now. So, I can only read books from NetGalley and my bookshelf. Also, book review copies from book publishers have a small impact on my TBR. I have 4 books now that I know about and that I can share with you.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year - Joanna Bolouri
A hilarious and heartwarming Christmas comedy.

Her Pretty Bones - Carla Kovach (Netgalley book)
New Thriller by the author of  The Next Girl.

Big Magic - Elizabeth Gilbert
Big Magic cracks open a world of wonder and joy.

I'll Be There For You - Kelsey Miller
The definitive retrospective of Friends, exploring all aspects of the show from its unlikely origins to the elusive reasons why we still watch it.

Two fiction and two non-fiction books are my reading plan for the next month ahead. I'm actually starting The Most Wonderful Time of the Year today cause I haven't read any Christmas related books yet and this will actually be my only one this year :) It sounds really sweet, so I'm excited to start this one.

How many Christmas books have you read/will read this year?

Friend Request - Laura Marshall

Happy Friday Bookworms!

Are you looking forward to the weekend?! I'm pretty sure you do :) I've been home with my sick daughter this week, but I will actually work both Saturday and Sunday, cause I do work every other weekend. Now I only have 6 workdays before my holiday break.

I have a book review for you and this book really surprised me.

Friend Request - Laura Marshall

This book blew me away right from the start. I really didn't know much about it, but I was curious and this is pretty new released and translated into Swedish. So I kindly made a request from the book publisher if I could get a review copy of it, and they were nice and send me one :)

This was such a "bladvändare", the Swedish word for "I didn't want to put it down". It still took me a few days, of course, to read it, cause there are rarely days where I can read a book in one sitting with a toddler that is home with me when I'm home :) It can happen, but like twice so far that I've managed to read a book in just one sitting.

But what I mean is that this is the kind of book that I could fly through quickly, cause it was so exciting. It's a Psychological Thriller, so I had this weird, creepy feeling the whole time I was reading it. LOVE IT :)

The ending...I wasn't prepared for it at all. It really was surprising. I still laughing at myself when I think of it, cause I had no idea it was coming. That's why I really loved this book, I couldn't imagine the ending to be like that. Crazy!!

This is a good example of how I wish a Psychological Thriller should be, so I'm so happy I was able to get my hands on a review copy of this. Thanks to Nona.

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is: Freebie

My book blog has been paused since the summer and I was starting to miss writing about books, cause I still read a lot of course so I haven't stopped just because I haven't been blogging about it for a while :)
I wanted to join Top Ten Tuesday and this week topic is Freebie, which means anything book-related or not book-related.

I love to be part of the book community and even if I still have a lot to learn when it comes to book blogging it sure is fun...when I'm motivated which I absolutely am right now. I feel excited to get back into it and can find a great blog schedule that will work great a line with everything else.

To write about books is so much fun, but there is so much more about it. For example, all other great book bloggers who are out there :) I want to share the top on my list of book blogs that I follow and enjoy visiting.

1. Paper Fury

2. That Artsy Reader Girl

3. BooksNest

4. Jenniely

5. Smart Bitches Trashy Books

I could go on with a longer list, but these 5 are on my top list of favorite book bloggers but believe me when I say I sure enjoy so many more great blogs :) I follow many more than these.

As I said, I really looking forward to moving along with my blog and I really hope to stay this time and not let myself get too overwhelmed and pressured, cause it really takes away the fun part of blogging. So I will work on a nice blog schedule for me and this blog so I will be able to share nice content, book reviews, book tips and so on a hopefully regular basis.

As to maybe ask for some feedback, I'm curious how often you update your book blog and what feels like a fair and good number of posts in a week? :) You are also welcome to share your favorite book blogger/bloggers below.
